When I was little we didn't put our Christmas tree up until the weekend before Christmas. I now completely understand why my mom waited so long. The excitement from a 2 year old is just crazy! Quite a while ago, we told Blair that Hunters birthday was about 6 weeks away. She was so excited for his birthday that several times a day she would come up to me and Nick and say, "Guess what??? Hunters birthday is coming up!!!" So needless to say, I didn't want to hear about Christmas coming up a million times a day for a month too. I have also been very busy with cupcake stuff so I really haven't had time to get the tree up anyway...
Blair helped me with the tree this year. She tried to put every ornament on the same branch on the tree. It would have been fine if we had a real tree but I didn't want to vacuum up needles everyday so we put up our artificial tree this year. I think that it actually worked out better than a big real tree anyway. We didn't have to move any of our furniture around this year to make the tree fit! Our angel was too heavy for this tree so our purple butterfly was our topper this year. I liked it!!!
