Yummy Tropical Smoothie!

I had to take Blair to the doctor because she had thrush. She did as well as can be expected when her mouth hurt and she does not like the doctors office. We had to drop her prescription off at the pharmacy and wait for it so I decided that we would get Tropical Smoothie while we waited. It was a BIG hit. I let Blair have some in the car and then she finished the rest at home. She loved it and did very well drinking from the straw and then drinking from the cup. She made a mess but at least she loved it!!!!

Crib Update

Blair is doing SO well in her crib. I brush her teeth and put her to bed. She just lays down and lets me cover her up and then goes to bed. She is even sleeping at least 9 to 10 hour at a time!

Do you know the muffin man?

Our neighbors across the street have given us tons of baby stuff. Our latest "gift" is this little scooter. They were more than happy to pass it along. Only a little while later, did we find out why they were so happy to get rid of it... It has two buttons on it. One plays "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and the other one plays "Do you know the Muffin Man?" Blair love buttons. She loves to press them repeatedly, over and over and over and over and over again. It doesn't matter if the song is still playing or not. She just loves to press the buttons. Most toys will continue with the song even if the button is pressed again. Not this one. This one likes to start the song from the beginning every time the button is pressed. So this causes us to get the remixed versions of the songs. So it goes something like this... "Do you, do you, do, do you, do you know the Muffin, do you know, do you know the Muffin man, the Muffin man, the Muffin man. Do you know the muffin man who lives on Durry Lane?" And then it just keeps on repeating until Blair decides that Twinkle, Twinkle is a better remixed song. But she loves it so what can we do but listen to the songs over and over and over again!

Utensils!!!

Blair eats off of my plate a lot. She had started to grab at my fork and try to put it in her mouth. I went and got her a cute, purple fork and spoon of her own. She did so well on her first try and loves to use her fork and spoon. She does much better with the fork than the spoon. It is nice that she can feed her self now, but sometimes it makes more of a mess and it defiantly takes more time than fingers.

Helping Da Da

Nick was washing the Jeep and he had the cooler filled with water and bubbles. The girls from across the street decided that it would be fun to play in. Blair watched them for a few minutes before she joined in the fun too!

A visit from New Jersey

Nicks sister and her two kids came down from New Jersey for the weekend. We had them and Nicks parents over for a cookout. They have not been down here for quite a while and had not met Blair yet. I only got a few pictures from the day, but we had fun!
