Tummy time
So tonight during play time, Nick, Blair and I were all on the floor while watching a movie. Blair was enjoying laying on her back, mouthing a toy and rolling to one side. We flipped her over to her tummy and Nick and I both looked away. I looked back and she was on her back! So it may have been a flook, but Blair rolled from her tummy to her back all by herself!

So we hate the car seat...
The past few days have been no fun while in the car. Blair has decided that being in her car seat is the most horrible thing in the whole wide world and SCREAMS from start to finish of the drive. I hope that this is just a very short phase that she is going through since we spend lots of time in the car.

Zeta Tau Alpha Recruitment
We finally finished our long weekend at ODU. Blair and I spent all of Friday evening, all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday hanging out with the ladies of Iota Sigma. Blair was such a trooper helping me out with recruitment. She met so many ladies this weekend. There were lots of smiles from all of the attention that she was getting. After all of the excitement of 5 rounds on Friday night, 4 rounds Saturday morning, and 3 rounds Saturday night, Blair slept through all of the events on Sunday. After all was said and done, the Iota Sigmas have gotten 21 new members and have reached 65 members of the chapter. It is so exciting to have such a large new member class and to have reached and exceeded total. This is the first time in a very long time that we have had so many members in the chapter. It is going to be a very fun semester with all of the ladies. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

3 months old!
Wow! Blair is 3 months old. I cannot believe how quickly the past 3 months have gone. I am amazed at how much things have changed since she was born. Blair is attentive, loves to talk, sleeps through the night sometimes, smiles, grabs things, wears size 2 diapers, is outgrowing 0-3 month clothes, is inquisitive about the world around her, knows that her feet are down at the end of her legs but has yet to grab them, and tons of other things that I can't remember. Blair's favorite songs are "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" and "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider". She is not fond of tummy time and when she has to wait to eat. She is growing like a weed and probably weighs around 12ish pounds. She still has blue eyes and light brown hair. I cannot wait to see what the next 3 months will bring!

More fun baby toys!
So I thought that Blair needed to have yet another thing to sit in amongst the 2 swings and bouncy chair, so we just bought the Bebe pod plus. It is so neat. It has a cool tray that can hold toys for now, then when she is eating, it can be used as a highchair for a while. Here are some pictures of our first try!
Hunter had to check it out too to see how much fun it is!

Sleeping through the night part 2
So after about 2 weeks of sleeping through the night, Blair has decided that it's not cool to sleep that long anymore. She now gets up around 4-5AM to eat and then goes back to sleep until between 9 and 10AM. So much for getting lots of sleep at one time!

This week...
There has not been too much going on this week since we have gotten back in town. Blair is still sleeping through the night and going between 9 to 13 hours between feedings. And she was very nice on Wednesday and took a very long evening nap so I got lots accomplished around the house. She is going to find her feet any day now. She knows that they are down there and has tried to grab them during diaper changes but has not had any success yet.
She was amazed last night with the sensation of cold. Nick had her in his lap and was having a beer and she touched the bottle and then kept touching the bottle. She is getting much better with her hands and has been touching everything and holding on to everything too. Her 0-3 sleepers are starting to get small on her. That makes me sad that my little girl is growing... Oh well! On to her cute fall clothes! We are gearing up for Zeta activities next weekend. Blair is going to go to her first Formal Recruitment and is going to meet all of the ODU Zeta's. It's going to be a long fun weekend. Our best news of the week is that Austin proposed to Courtney tonight! We are so excited for them and cannot wait to go to Wisconsin so that Blair can see her first wedding!

Fun weekend in North Carolina
Well we made it to North Carolina and back all in one piece. We left on Friday around lunchtime and headed to Morganton. After getting stuck in lots of traffic we finally made it to Diana and Allen's after a 7 1/2 hour trip. We had a great dinner and we hung out for a while before hitting the sheets. Saturday was a fun filled day of shopping at Prime Outlets in Gafney, South Carolina. Diana, Allen, Blair and I looked at lots of baby clothes. Blair and Emma got some very cute outfits! Saturday evening was an exciting, loud dinner at Fatz with Courtney and Austin. We were the loudest table in there with our great conversation and lots of laughing! On Sunday, we went to some caverns and took a tour. Blair was such a trooper and was so excited that she fell alseep right before we went in the cavern. She did wake up towards the end of the tour so she did get to see a little (not that she will remember it though!). We drove back home on Monday and it was a much smoother ride. It only took us about 6 hours since there was no traffic. We had such a blast on Blair's first trip out of town. Pictures from the weekend will be posted as soon as I get them off my camera and also get some from Diana and Courtney.
Diana is so adorable with her bump. I can't wait to see Diana again in November!
Since Nick has seen most of the United States, Blair and I will be catching up with him. Blair has 3 states down, 47 to go!
