The last few months have been very busy!

Here are the last few months in a nutshell!

In February Blair is potty trained! We did a 3 day program and it was amazing! Blair did great and was so proud of her stickers!

Sweet Temptations Cupcakes donated about 700 mini cupcakes to the volunteers for Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

On top of the cupcakes for EMHE, we have made TONS of cupcakes! We have been in many bridal shows and had lots of orders that have kept us very busy.

Blair loves to help us by playing with fondant!

Blair is really starting to get into dressing up and pretending.

We took Blair to her first movie.  We went to see Gnomo and Juliet.  She did great and sat through almost the whole movie.

In March, the Rolland Family made a trip up to Virginia Beach so that we could host a shower for Courtney.  Blair and Emma had a blast together and Diana and I enjoyed spending tons of time with Courtney!  We can't wait for the end of June/beginning of July when baby G makes his or her appearance!!!!!!

At the end of March, Mom, Blair and I headed down to Charleston for a weekend trip to see Grandma and Blair's cousins.  It was a quick trip but we had fun spending time with Grandma and the girls.

Blair and I have been able to reconnect with my childhood best friend and we have met several times for dinner dates.  The last time that we got together, we headed to Tropical Smoothie and then to one of the playgrounds at the beach.  Blair had fun playing in the sand and finally decided to venture onto the big play set.

So that is some of what we have been up to the first few months of 2011!!!

Snowpocalypse Christmas 2010

It started to snow on Christmas evening.  The Weather Chanel predicted that would would get about 10 inches, but I didn't believe it.  It had been cold, but not super cold so I never thought that it would stick.  Well, I was wrong.  Very wrong.  We have about 14 inches at our house!  Blair kind of liked the snow.  Hunter LOVES the snow!  He wants to be outside all of the time.  He goes outside and lays in the snow and then runs around at full speed!  Some of the snow is so deep that he had to hop through it.  I wish that Blair was enjoying the snow more, but I understand that it's not so cool when we don't have the right snow gear to wear.  We will see what the rest of the winter will be like.  This was the 5th time that it snowed in December so I'm excited to see if it snows more this winter!

Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas this year.  Blair fell asleep around 9PM and didn't get to help me put out our cookies, milk and carrots so I did it for her.  I woke up first on Christmas morning and I was so excited to see Blair see the tree after Santa had visited.  We actually were able to take Blair into the back room and get some breakfast in her before we opened gifts.  After breakfast, we took Blair in to see the tree and presents.  She wasn't sure at first but as soon as she realized that all of the gifts were for her, she dug in!  She would open a gift and then hand it to Nick to open.  I got some great pictures of Nick opening the boxes.  I'm sure that he was making the same faces that lots of other dads were making on Christmas morning.  Blair was very spoiled and got lots of fantastic gifts!
We hosted dinner this year.  Mom, Doug, Brittni, Shai, Vincent, Janet, Brian and Jessica came.  Janet's dog, Gizmo also joined in the festivities.  I'm sure that Blair enjoyed him more that he enjoyed her!  We had a fantastic dinner with great company and great conversations.  I can't wait for next year!
