Standing
So Blair loves to stand up. She crawls right up to everything, the door, the wall, toys, people, the dog, ANYTHING, so that she can pull her self up and stand. She is even getting pretty daring and letting go of whatever she is holding on to. She will only stand unassisted for about a second or so before she sits back down.

8 months!
Happy Friday the 13th! I have never had a bad day on Friday the 13th and my best day ever was the Friday the 13th that Blair was born. It was the only Friday the 13th in 2008!
Blair is crawling around like crazy! She thinks it is so fun. She will crawl down the hall and then sit down and squeal at me. She loves to chase Sasha and Sasha is getting more used to being grabbed.
Blair wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes.
She has her 2 bottom teeth and I'm pretty sure that she has more coming in since she has been a grouch all week.
She can wave but does not do it that much. I also think that she is starting to understand that she can sign. I have been trying to use "more" and "all done" with her. She did seem like she made the "more" sign the other day while we were at my moms and she was eating puffs. She is just starting to kind of be able to use her thumb and forefinger a little bit, but just barely.
Blair babbles a ton. She has just started to say "mum" but I don't think that she realizes that when she talks, it can mean something. She just loves to squeal when she is happy or when she sees Hunter or Sasha.
Her eyes are still blue so I'm thinking that they might stay that way.
Only 4 more months until she is 1! It's going by too fast!

Crawling
We have reached the end of not crawling. Blair has started to figure out how to crawl. I think by the weekend or mid week, she will have totally figured out how to crawl. She has only been coordinated enough a hand full of times to get her arms and legs moving together to crawl. The movement has begun!

Walker
We have another addition to our obstacle course of Blair's things. Nick went up in the attic last night and go the walker down. Blair seems to be enjoying it so far. She moves backwards really well. Today she was scooting around in the kitchen while I was doing dishes. She got over to me and grabbed onto my leg and looked up and smiled! I love it!

Second tooth
Blair's second tooth has barely popped through the surface of her gums. She is super cranky but I guess I would be too if my gums were throbbing constantly...

First tooth!
We have a tooth! Well, actually, it is barely there, but I can feel the very sharp tips just through the gums. It is her center bottom tooth on the right side. I started to feel it yesterday and I can feel it more today. I feel so bad since I know it hurts so much. Blair had a HUGE melt down last night and nothing except boob milk would make it better... I also think that I can see the left bottom tooth but I'm not sure since Blair will not let me touch her gums, let alone stick my fingers in and pry her mouth open to get a good look. I can't wait to see the whole pearly white tooth!

Sitting up
Well Blair has figured out how to sit herself up. She starts on her belly then gets up onto her hands and knees. Then she moves one of her legs just right and pushes herself right up. She is going to be a very happy girl now!
