Update on Diana
I just spoke to Diana and she had an epidural at about 6PM. She is now more comfortable since her contractions are about 1-3 minutes apart. She is 4cm dilated right now so hopefully the next 6 will go quickly!
Waiting on Miss Emma Grace
I talked to Diana about an hour ago and she is in the hospital and hooked up to her IVs and monitors. Now the waiting really begins! Yay! Emma Grace is almost here!

Lots of new posts
So I am really behind and we have had a very busy first 13 days of the new year. I am slowly getting to all of the updates here on the blog so scroll down to see updates on what has been keeping us so busy since the 1st.
7 months
Time flies by too quickly. I feel like I just posted for 6 months.
We have finally moved on to size 3 diapers and we are slowly starting to get into 6-9 month clothes. Blair sits so well and can reach for everything. She is starting to rock onto her knees so I'm sure that it won't be long before she realizes that she can crawl. She is also pulling up on her toys. The spit up is getting much better. We still have our bad days but the are outnumbered by the good ones. She babbles a lot and I love it! I cannot wait until she really says something and means it. I am trying to start to use signs so we will see how that goes.

First trip to New Jersey
We took a trip up to New Jersey this weekend. Unfortunately, it was because one of Nick's aunts, Joanna, had passed away. We headed on Sunday and went to the wake. The funeral was held on Monday morning. The service was at Holy Family R.C. Church in Linden, which is the church that Nick and most of his family go to. Nick's grandparents house is two doors away from the church and Nick was an alter boy here when he was livin in New Jersey. The full mass service was wonderful and the church was full. Joanna was loved dearly by many people and it was obvious when I looked around the church to see so many people there to honor her life. After the service was finished, we processed over to Rosehill Cemetery. When we were finished there, we headed over to the church hall to enjoy a yummy dinner with all of Joanna's family and friends. It was to nice to see everyone and to be able to introduce Blair to most of the family.
First trip to the park
While my Dad was here, we decided to head up to the neighborhood park. Since my Dad lives in Florida, he is not able to be here to experience Blair's firsts, so it was really nice that we were able to go to the park together for the first time. Dad, Nick, Hunter, Blair and I walked up to the park that is in our neighborhood. It was a chilly day, but it was not that bad. We put Blair in the swing first. She was not quite sure about it in the beginning, but once we took her pacifier out, she started smiling from ear to ear. She was having such a great time on the swing. After we finished on the swing, Grandpa took her down the big slide. She was not a fan at all! We can't wait until it gets warmer so that we can spend more time at the park!

Grandpa and Carol
One the first day of the year, we welcomed some great visitors to our house. My dad and his girlfriend, Carol, came up from Florida to meet Blair and to spend some time with us. They arrived on Thursday evening and we had a great dinner that took forever to cook, and then relaxed for the rest of the evening. On Friday, I had to work during the day, so Dad and Carol went out and got a few things done. Friday evening, Doug came over after work and all6 of us headed to Outback for dinner. On Saturday, Dad and Carol went out and got a few more things taken care of and when they got back, Dad, Nick, Hunter, Blair and I headed up to the neighborhood park for Blair's first park experience. And on Sunday, I cooked pancakes and then we just relaxed for the day. Dad and Carol headed back to Florida on Monday. We had such a great time with Dad and Carol and are so happy that they were able to make the drive up here to meet Blair. Thanks guys!

New Years Celebrations
We had a fantastic time ringing in the New Year. Nick had to work until 8PM so Blair and went and picked him up from work and headed down to the Oceanfront. We went to my mom's neighbors house for our first party of the night. Glenn and Carole have been having their New Years party for many years now and Nick and I have gone for the past few years. Glenn and Carole are on the older side and have lots of older friends so instead of celebrating at midnight, they celebrate at 10PM, which is midnight Greenland time. Nick and I were able to catch up with several people at the party before we toasted the new year. After we were finished at Glenn and Carole's party, we headed over to Stacey and Donnie's house. We had just planned on stopping by to say "Hi" so that we could be home before all of the crazies got out on the road, but we were having a fantastic time with everyone that was there. We were able to catch up with Stacey and Donnie, Amanda and Dan, and Jackie and Eric. We all spent most of the evening talking about our kids, or the one on the way (Yay Stacey!). After we toasted the new year again, we headed out to come home and hit the bed. We had such a fantastic time this year and I cannot wait to see what new and exciting things happen this year!
